This is a journal, of sorts, of an organic garden in SW Michigan. It is also an opportunity for its writer to vent about much that ails her.

Peep
Day-old robin chicks in a grapevine
We have admired this robin for 2 summers now; her nest is perfect. Yesterday Tom noticed the babies; they're fairly remotely located, at about eye level.

And I thought the big news would be the new eggs. Did you have them for breakfast yet? Surprise--I got 3 potential customers at work Sun. Key word--potential. I am showing one on Thurs. I was visiting janice to pick up some more Iris to plant, and got a garden tour, and admired her baloon flowers. Lo and behold, when I got home, and went to check on my flower friends--guess what I have blue baloons blooming in the teepee section! Everyday is some new delight. I must go now to deadhead some. Love to all. Nana
A city girl who realized upon the birth of her daughter that life is entirely too short to spend on 1/12th of an acre, she now digs up her weeds (usually with a pick) on 5.
